Happy Anniversary!

Kent started his busy season at work this past week so he is working Saturdays now and longer hours during the week until the end of the summer. Since we had a three day weekend last week we decided to take advantage of it and celebrate our anniversary early. We took off on friday the 4th and headed into Boise.

This is the hotel we stayed in. It was called Modern Hotel.... kind of cool huh?





After we checked in we went down the 4th of July parade (I didn't want to carry my camera...uggg.... I really wish I would have). After the parade we went to dinner at The old Spaghetti Factory. It was a really cool restaurant with a trolley inside and we got to sit in it. We then came back to the hotel and watched the fireworks. This one was a heart.

Saturday we woke up and headed to this hotel called Anniversary Inn. They have decorated rooms like a jungle or a castle. Everyday they give tours and we thought it would be fun to take one. Well it was. (We didn't stay there because it is really expensive!). We then went shopping at the mall. They were having a huge sale and we got 8 pieces of clothes at Gap for $60! Crazy huh? Then we went to see "Get Smart" It was such a fun time to just get away and have some fun alone. Wish we could do it every weekend!
